California funk-punk-rockers the Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold more than 80 million albums around the world and won seven Grammy Awards. In 2000, they were honoured with MTV’s Video Vanguard Award. They won the Best Rock Act EMA in 2000 and 2002, the Best Live Act EMA in 2002, and the Best Album EMA in 2006, for ‘Stadium Arcadium’. They performed live at the 2011 MTV EMA in Belfast.
